Q. How long the Colour Sealing process will take?
A. The colour sealing protection process can take about 3 to 8 hours or even
more depending on the size of the area to be colour sealed.

Q. Can I walk on the tile floors right after the Colour Seal has been applied?
A .Groutworx recommends you to allow at least 30 minutes before you walk on
the tile floors. However, you can walk on the tile right away if you avoid
steeping on the grout joints being treated.

Q. How long it takes for Stain Seal to cure?

A. It usually takes about seven days for the Colour Seal to completely cure.
Keep your grout dry during the curing process for better results.

Q. Should all grout be sealed?
A. With the exception of grout that is 100% epoxy, all sanded grout should be
sealed. In most cases, unless the grout is sealed it will absorb dirt, grime and
stains and even regular mopping will not solve the problem.

In fact, mopping will only add to the problem. Conventional cleaning
methods will generally not restore grout back to its original colour or
satisfactory condition. If the grout is discoloured and stained or, if you wish
to change the colour of your grout, it can be fully restored with colour
sealing. This process will prevent moisture, dirt and grime from being
absorbed into the grout. No more unsightly stains mould or mildew.

Q. Why should I "colour seal" my grout? Why not just apply a quality
     penetrating sealer?

A. For several reasons. Keep in mind; grout is basically just sand and a little
cement. It is subject to permanent staining. So, any stains that didn't come
out during the cleaning process, our "colour seal" will cover them up. By the
time we're finished, your floor will be 100% uniform in colour and tightly
    sealed.

Penetrating sealers are designed to "buy you time" to wipe up a spill. When
you "colour seal" your grout there is no reaction time. Colour sealed grout is
    stain resistant!!

Q. Does the grout need to be dry before applying Colour Seal?
A. The grout should be reasonably dry before applying Colour Seal. But no
puddles. We give a light clean over before colour sealing.

Q. How is Colour Seal applied to the grout?
A. The Colour Seal protection is applied with by hand into each grout joint
cautiously removing any excess from the tile. Then the tile floor is polished
and inspected to guarantee a clean and quality work.

Q. My grout colour did not dry to an even colour and is faded or blotchy.
Is there anything I can do to change or even out the colour?

A. Yes, we can change the existing colour or even out a modeled colour, and
provide a protective seal at the same time!! Colour sealing provides a glare
free, uniform colour that is highly resistant to contaminants, water, wear,
    sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Q. How long does Stain Seal Protection last?
A. When the tile and grout are well maintained, the protection can last over
ten to fifteen years. Usually it lasts longer when using a neutral PH cleaner
on your tile and grout. Avoid using any chemicals such as strippers or acids
    to clean your tile floors.

Q. Does Groutworx offer a warranty on Colour Seal?
A. Yes, we offers a 15 year warranty against staining. Click here to refer to
    "Our Guarantee"
page.

Q. Can you match any grout colour?
A. Groutworx offers twelve basic colours but also has hundreds of Custom
    colours to suit your taste.

Q. Do I need to re-apply sealer again?
A. No, you don't need to re-apply grout sealer again. Unless there is a damage
to your grout or tile floor

Q. How can I tell if my grout has been sealed?

A. Put a few drops of water in the grout joint. If the grout joint has been
sealed the water will 'bead' on the surface, if it soaks into the grout it
    requires sealing.

Q. Will the grout stains reappear?
A. No, stains will not re-appear if you use the right cleaners to preserve your
    colour sealed grout.

Q. Should I colour seal freshly applied grout?
A. Yes. Fresh grout should dry for at least two days before applying
    colour seal.

Q. Why is colour seal better than tile or grout replacement?
A. COLOUR SEAL is a safe process to restore your tile grout.
Replacement of tile grout is an expensive process and means removing the
grout. Removing the grout will produce a lot a dust that may be hazardous,
plus there is big chance of damaging tiles. The new grout
requires sealing adding a further cost to the customer.

Q. Is colour seal recommended for a high traffic sarea such as an office
building, bathrooms, or any other commercial facilities?

A. Absolutely, Groutworx highly recommends it to commercial buildings and
businesses. Surveys show that the number one complaint by clients,
employees and tenants of commercial facilities is the stained looking dirty
toilet floors.  Colour Seal will solve this problem by making your grout look
    clean and stained free.

Q. Once my floor has been cleaned and sealed, how do I maintain it
    properly?

A. We recommend cleaning your floor using a "neutral" cleaner and damp mop.
